Bev Bauer's work is now on display along with the work of a variety of other artists at the Artists' House. The Artists' House is a working gallery where visitors can immerse themselves in the world of a real working artist, enjoy a cup of coffee, chat with Bev and her trainees about what it means to live an artistic life, and perhaps even become part of the artistic process.
The Artists' House is open most weekends and by arrangement during the week. Other local artists involved with the Artists' House include Maureen Shurr, Grant Bauer, Bev Bauer, Chandre Mammes, Oriele Friedeman, Barry Gibb, Jessie Schultz, Grant Whittal and Glenda Glendall.
Bev is also working with a team of up-and-coming local artists from disadvantaged backgrounds through a project funded by the EU (through the eScape Route). These trainees are working primarily in sculpture and ceramics and also help run the Artists' House. Contact Bev on 084 516 5377 |
